ReShape is an art installation that emerges from a curiosity and dissatisfaction with how mental health is portrayed in American culture, especially for underrepresented voices.

6 artists from different backgrounds crafted a living piece of art to engage the mental landscape: How do we experience our internal life? How do we reshape this over time, through cultural influences, trauma, and other factors?

Conceived of and Creative Directed by Eddie DeHais, ReShape was mounted in June 2018, and included works and performances by primary artists Eddie DeHais, Michael B. Maine, Nicholas Japaul Bernard, D.R. Amromin, Zane Exactly, and Nick Spencer as well as performances by Angel Alviar-Langley AKA Moonyeka, Casey Middaugh, Aviona Rodriguez-Brown, Kellie Martin, Jéhan Òsanyìn, Butch Alice, Mai Li Pittard, Cassie Bray, Pilar O’Connell, Quinn Brenfleck, Matt Aguayo, Cessa Betancourt, Sameer Arshad, and Jenny May Peterson.
